Gestamp Corporation’s activities are comprised of three main pillars:
- The steel service centres, of Gonvarri Group, founded in Spain in 1958 and dedicated to the purchasing, storage, and cutting of steel. Fifty years after its establishment, the company is now an industrial holding, considered the indisputable leader in the European market of steel service centers, with a presence all over the world.
- The factories for assembly and manufacture of systems for the automotive industry, Gestamp Automotive,
- The development of renewable energy projects, focusing on wind energy, Gestamp Wind, Biomass Energy, Gestamp Biomass and solar energy, Gestamp Solar.
Gestamp Solar is dedicated to the development of renewable energy and is the result of the merger of two companies with a long track record in the renewable energy sector in Spain, Asetym and Gestamp Solar.
Both Gonvarri and Gestamp Automotive are majority owned by the Riberas family and the companies ArcelorMittal and Caja Madrid, among others, are also stakeholders. |
